Funding for Spanish exporters' associations or federations. Funding scheme for opening up foreign markets: exporters' scheme

The purpose of the grants for exporters’ associations or federations for the opening of foreign markets, exporters’ line, is to promote and facilitate access for Spanish products and companies to third-country markets, thereby facilitating their consolidation in those international markets.

Grant under this line forms part of the ‘Market Opening and Consolidation Programme’ under Component 13, ‘Support for SMEs’, of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, specifically Investment 5, relating to internationalisation.

The costs associated with the following actions will be funded:

  • Inspection visits and official audits carried out by the authorities of third countries with the aim of achieving recognition or equivalence of Spanish operators’ establishments in accordance with sanitary or phytosanitary requirements, as well as the necessary preparatory actions.
  • The payment of fees required by certain third countries as a preliminary step to the formal market access process
  • Obtaining mandatory certifications required for Spanish products regarding compliance with import or marketing requirements adopted by third countries.
  • Consultancy, monitoring and legal advice relating to the defence of the commercial interests of the export sector that limit its export capacity, including those linked to trade defence proceedings.

Associations and federations recognised as partner organisations of the Secretary of State for Trade, in accordance with the applicable regulations, are eligible for this grant.
