Responsible for compiling and analysing economic and commercial intelligence generated by the Economic and Commercial Offices and by the Regional and Provincial Trade Directorates in orden to identify geographical areas and strategic sectors presenting opportunities and risks for Spanish companies. Definition of the work programme for the implementation of the business internationalisation policy and participation and representation of Spanish interests in the formulation of Spain’s bilateral trade policy with the rest of the world.

Bachelor´s Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), Madrid.
Civil servant of the High Corps of State Economists and Trade Specialists, 2008.

Economic and Commercial Counselor at the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in LA (United States) from 2019 until 2024, also acting as representative for economic relations before the European Commission, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the OECD and the G20.
General Director of Statistics and Social and Labor Analysis at the Ministry of Employment and Social Security from 2017 to 2018.
Chief of Staff to the President of the National Commission on Markets and Competition from 2015 until 2017.
His entire professional career has been held in the Spanish Public Administration, with wide experience in the design and implementation of public policies, international economic diplomacy, economic analysis and different advisory positions to senior executives.
