- Bachelor´s Degree in Economics and Business Administration and in Sociology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
- Diploma in Advanced Studies in Public Economics (UCM/IEF/UNED).
- Civil servant of the High Corps of Actuaries, Statisticians and Economists of the Social Security Administration, 2004.

- Secretary of State of Economy and Business Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business since January 2024.
- Secretary of State for Social Security and Pensions from January 2020 until June 2022.
- Deputy General Director of Public Debt at the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF) from 2017 until 2020.
- Deputy General Director of Budgets, Economic Studies and Statistics at the General Treasury of Social Security from 2012 until 2017.
- Deputy General Director of Payment Management and Reserve Fund Management from 2019 until 2012.
- Previously he served as Head of Statistics, Economic Studies, and Conjunctural Analysis of the Economic Situation at the General Treasury of Social Security.
