Responsibilities

• Responsible for public debt management, monitoring, analysis and regulation of the financial sector, oversight of developments in domestic and international financial markets, and coordination of national authorities in matters of financial stability. Representation of Spain in key international organisations, including the IMF, World Bank and EIB, and provision of technical support and advice for the implementation of financial instruments under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan Addendum.

Academic background

• Bachelor´s Degree of Science in Foreign Service with a major in International Economics from Georgetown University (recognized in Spain as a Bachelor´s Degree in Economic Affairs), 2003.
• Executive Master’s Degree in the Management of Financial Entities from Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB), 2015.
• Civil servant of the High Corps of State Economists and Trade Specialists, 2010.
