Electronic headquarters and sub-headquarters allow citizens and businesses to access all information, procedures, formalities and services that are available electronically within the scope of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business.

The concept of electronic headquarters was created by Law 11/2007, of 22 June, on citizens' electronic access to public services, justified by 'the need to clearly define the electronic administrative headquarters with which relations are established, promoting a system of identification, authentication, minimum content, legal protection, accessibility, availability and responsibility'. This concept is also regulated by Royal Decree 1671/2009, of 6 November, which partially implements Law 11/2007, of 22 June, on citizens' electronic access to public services.

Electronic headquarters and sub-headquarters therefore provide citizens with guarantees of complete certainty and security in their relations with the Administration. Within the scope of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, the following headquarters and sub-headquarters have been created, which include all the electronic services made available to citizens and businesses.​
