​​​Guarantee of the Spanish Market Unity​

The Market Unity Law (Law 20/2013, of December 9th) establishes basic principles and standards that guarantee the market unity along the whole country, through a better regulation, to create the most favourable environment to competition and investment.

The law establishes basic principles and rules that guarantee the unity of the market and the improvement of regulation, to create the most favorable environment for competition and investment.​

The Judgments of the Constitutional Court 79/2017 of June 22, 110/2017 of October 5 and 111/2017 of October 5, declared several articles of the rule null and void. Law 20/2013, of December 9, on the guarantee of market unity was modified through Law 18/2022, of September 28, on the creation and growth of companies with the aim of, among other issues, deepening in cooperation and mutual trust between the different public Administrations and reinforce the mechanisms for the protection of operators.
